Murray Pearlstein, founder of the iconic Louis Boston menswear store first coined the name Pub Jacket for this gorgeous style almost 40 years ago, and we’ve used it with pride since. Available in various yarns which ensure an Inis Meáin Pub Jacket for all seasons, for Spring / Summer 2026 we have reknit our popular new variant, the Washed Linen Pub Jacket. While also knit from 100% linen, it has been designed to go through a specialist linen wash and dry in the workshop which creates a denser, softer knit than the crisp, unwashed linen Pub Jacket also available. Featuring the same revere collar and styling details to create a smart warming layer over our lightweight tunics and sweaters, or elegant evening wear over a shirt and tie.

New for this season in rich, earthy Brown, in vibrant Mustard and in classic, marine Navy. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Limited Edition Colour: While all of our production is micro-batch usually making about 10-12 pieces per style at a time, we sometimes have special Limited Edition pieces - usually in a batch of just 3 to 6 pieces in limited sizes - which are often world exclusives. Each season, during the development of our collections, we go through a testing process to tease out conceptual ideas, colours and production methods. With up to 20 separate cones needed to knit some of our intricate colourways, and a repertoire of 50 year's worth of garment designs, we sometimes make versions of colours, or even styles that don't make it to final production. This creates a limited number of very unique pieces which we occasionally make available exclusively through our online store. For this piece we have a Limited Edition in Natural - a warm sandy tone akin to the sand dunes of Ceann Gainimh.

Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible and usually within a few days, please allow up to a maximum 10 day shipping period due to our remote offshore island location where weather conditions can impact shipping your special package from the Aran Islands.

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
