30% Cashmere | 70% Merino

Our much-loved Patented Aran Sweater in our beautifully soft Cashmere and Merino blended yarn. On the Island, Aran patterns were passed down within families with pride. Inis Meáin's signature Patented Aran pattern has the distinction of being held in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. Unique to Inis Meáin, the intricate composition of this fine cable knit pattern creates a tailored, classic look reminiscent of the strong twists of the Island fishing ropes. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.

New for Autumn / Winter 2024 in Red Fleck, a rich crimson with subtle flecks in mustard and orange tones, and Blue Mix, an aqua blue blended with muted shades of grey and white flecks. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Apparel care

This garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time. To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash.

Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
Shipping

All orders are shipped via DHL. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory. Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible, please allow up to a 10 day shipping period due to our remote location on an offshore island.

Returns

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
