70% Mohair | 30% Silk

Our softest shawl carefully knitted from mohair and silk, inspired by the delicate maidenhair fern that grows from the damp crevices of the island's limestone pavement. From the family of the Ribbon fern, it has delicate fan-shape leaf clusters which we have emulated in an all-over pattern. Extremely lightweight and lofty, this uniquely nature-inspired, beautiful knit shawl can be gathered and worn as a soft neck-warmer, or spread out around the shoulders to its full width as an elegant occasion accessory. This generously outsized shawl measures 70cm x 180cm.

Autumn/Winter 2024 brings new colours Khaki Marl, a beautiful mélange of olive with tones of rust, and a versatile earthy Brown. Also available in deep Teal, warm Cream and Rust Marl, a deep, fiery shade with faint amber hints. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Apparel care

This garment is made using Mohair, an extremely soft yarn giving it a stitch quality that can be susceptible to snagging on sharp objects and jewellery. Care should be taken to avoid this.

Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.

Shipping

Hassle-free Worldwide delivery with all taxes and duties included at checkout with no further payments required. All orders are shipped via DHL, except US orders shipped with UPS. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory.

Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible and usually within a few days, please allow up to a maximum 10 day shipping period due to our remote offshore island location where weather conditions can impact shipping your special package from the Aran Islands.

Returns

Extended Christmas Returns to the 16th of January for goods purchased since the 24th of November (overrides standard policy return times below). If we can help you with your seasonal gifting in any other way please let us know!

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
