The Caoladóir or Basketweaver Sweater is inspired by the tradition of basketmaking on the islands. Baskets were used extensively throughout island life, particularly for farming and fishing activities. This lightweight sweater features a geometrical basketweave stitch throughout, creating distinctive stitch interest. This neat sweater features a sleek saddle shoulder and ribbed trims. Crafted in our brand new yarn composition of Cashmere and Cotton made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.

Available in Green, a vibrant shade reflecting the rich Inis Meáin landscape. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Hassle-free Worldwide delivery with all taxes and duties included at checkout with no further payments required. All orders are shipped via DHL, except Canadian and US orders shipped with UPS. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory.

Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible and usually within a few days, please allow up to a maximum 10 day shipping period due to our remote offshore island location where weather conditions can impact shipping your special package from the Aran Islands.

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
