As the only knitwear factory in the Aran Islands we are also the largest employer in the tiny but vibrant community of Inis Meáin, with a team of 25 from a population of just 180 people. In the process, we are helping to sustain an island community, and preserve an important part of Irish history and culture by making Aran's rich textile heritage relevant to a modern, worldly audience.
