INIS MEÁIN kicked off the AW 2015/16 season as usual participating in “the world’s most important platform for men’s clothing” – the 87th edition of Pitti Uomo in Firenze on January 13th to 16th where attendance was up by 15%.
Top International buyers from all over the world attended and an “…excellent start to the season was marked by a great confidence and optimism” – Raffaelo Napoleone, CEO, Pitti Immagine.
As usual, we were inundated with clients, old and new from: USA, UK, Ireland, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine & Korea.
On to Berlin straight from Florence where there was more confidence in the future for specialty brands like ours offering new design and quality. Karl Heinz Mueller’s “Back to the Street” Bread and Butter show was well attended in spite of the last minute arrangements.
And in Tokyo and Miyamoto-san ran a 6 day showing in his 6th floor showroom in Harajuku, where business was up and the creativity and quality of our collection was appreciated by clients who bought with an air of confidence in the upcoming Autumn Winter season.
