The craft of dry stone walling, a traditional island activity passed through the generations, is the inspiration for this stylish Blanket from our Claíochaí, or stonewall, range. Each wall is built by hand using stones of random shapes and sizes. Our intricate design uses a variety of stitches to emulate the patterns created, such as plated moss stitch, plated moss rib stitch, plated caterpillar stitch, plated brick stitch, and embossed leaf stitch. Bring some Inis Meáin luxury ‘don Bhaile’ (to your home) with this special piece, equally beautiful as a warm sofa throw or bed blanket. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes. Measures 100cm x 180cm.

Available in Khaki Mix, plating a Khaki marled yarn with a deep Navy. Both yarns are interspersed with Donegal flecks of warm orange and electric blue, culminating in a deep palette, adding striking pattern and colour interest to any natural or rustic interior. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

All orders are shipped via DHL. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory. Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible, please allow up to a 10 day shipping period due to our remote location on an offshore island.

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
