30% Cashmere | 70% Merino

Each season, during the development of our collections, we go through a testing process to tease out conceptual ideas, colours and production methods. With up to 20 separate cones needed to knit some of our unique marl colours, not all of these variations end up fitting within the final collection, often leaving us with a number of very unique garments that generally don’t reach any of our client stores. We have decided to make some of these rare pieces available exclusively through our online store in very limited numbers.

The newly developed and intriguing Fíodóir, or Weaver stitch, emulates the mosaic patterns of the stone walls in a striking combination of knitting and weaving. This intricate stitch uses a base Donegal fleck yarn, and 3 contrasting colours for the floating weave. Available in a relaxed-fit Cashmere Cardigan, this is uniquely textured piece to create an eye-catching ensemble. Reflecting the long history of both weaving and knitting on the Aran Islands and crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto.

Available in Navy-Blue, Grey-Orange, Khaki-Green, Brown-Teal, a kaleidoscope of beautiful intricate colour ways created by this unique knitted weave. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
Apparel care

This garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time. To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash.

Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
Shipping

All orders are shipped via DHL. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory. Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible, please allow up to a 10 day shipping period due to our remote location on an offshore island.

Returns

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
