Influenced by the raised, ridge beds for potato growing and the deep grykes cross-hatching the limestone pavements on the island, we have used a bold linear rib to design a variety of novel styles for our Autumn/Winter 2024 Ridges and Walls Collection. The Ridges Aran Gansey gives a nod to Aran Islands traditions without being a traditional cabled Aran Sweater. The ridges create a feeling of modernity and restraint, decorating only the top body area as was often the case in the original fisherman sweaters. A seamless 2 by 2 rib neckline ensures additional warmth and comfort, and the loft of the ridges have created breathability in a slightly lighter weight than our signature Aran Sweaters.

Newly available in popular colourway Charcoal Fleck, a versatile dark grey elevated with warm orange and snowy white highlights; and Burgundy Fleck, a rich shade of maroon elevated with bright flecks of crimson red, orange and electric blue. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible and usually within a few days, please allow up to a maximum 10 day shipping period due to our remote offshore island location where weather conditions can impact shipping your special package from the Aran Islands.

Extended Christmas Returns to the 16th of January for goods purchased since the 24th of November (overrides standard policy return times below). If we can help you with your seasonal gifting in any other way please let us know!

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
