The craft of Claíochaí, or dry stone walling, a traditional island activity passed from one generation to the next on the Aran Islands, continues to inspire our collections including the Claíochaí Beaga linen sweater. Each wall is built by hand using stones of random shapes and sizes. Our intricate design uses a variety of stitches to emulate the patterns created, and Claíochaí Beaga, has repeated one of these wall patterns throughout the sweater to create a horizontal herringbone effect. The result is a modern aran sweater inspired by an ancient craft. European Masters of Linen quality guarantees European linen of the highest standard and traceability from field to yarn.

Intricate colour mixes emphasise the exceptional stitch interest, texture and colour contrast in this unique sweater. Newly available in Green Mix, a mélange of sage and mint greens combined with a highlight of ochre. Also available in Orange Mix, a combination of orange and dark natural tones. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

All orders are shipped via DHL. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory. Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible, please allow up to a 10 day shipping period due to our remote location on an offshore island.

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
