The craft of Claíochaí, or dry stone walling, a traditional island activity passed from one generation to the next on the Aran Islands, continues to inspire our collections. New for Spring / Summer 2024 is the Claíochaí Móra Linen Sweater. Each wall is built by hand using stones of random shapes and sizes. Our intricate design uses a variety of stitches to emulate the patterns created, and Claíochaí Móra, has enlarged the pattern blocks for graphic effect. The result is a modern aran sweater inspired by an ancient craft. European Masters of Linen quality guarantees European linen of the highest standard and traceability from field to yarn.

Available in Navy Mix - dark blues and greys inspired by the sea crashing on the island rocks, and Charcoal Mix, a versatile combination of slate grey and dark natural marl yarns.

Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
Apparel care

This garment is made using Linen, a beautiful natural fabric with irregular characteristics making each garment unique. Some of the knit constructions make it susceptible to snagging on sharp objects and jewellery. Care should be taken to avoid this.

Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
Shipping

All orders are shipped via DHL. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory. Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible, please allow up to a 10 day shipping period due to our remote location on an offshore island.

Returns

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
