Cashmere Button Aran Sweater

Product details

30% Cashmere / 70% Merino

The Inis Meáin cable knit Cashmere Button Aran Sweater has been reintroduced for Autumn/Winter 2026 and combines luxury in design, soft handfeel and durability with Aran Island's knitting heritage. Made in the only knitwear factory ever established in the Aran Islands, this chunky Aran Sweater creates warmth and coziness with a high neck while maintaining breathability through the loft in its pattern and its button opening. The button neck, featuring a rib finish also seen on the sleeves and hem, fastens with four buttons rather than a more traditional three. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.

Exclusive to our Online Store for AW26 Tan Fleck, a luxurious camel with flecks of cream, rust and chocolate brown. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Apparel care

This garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time. To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash.

Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
