Each season, during the development of our collections, we go through a testing process to tease out conceptual ideas, colours and production methods. With up to 20 separate cones needed to knit some of our intricate colourways, and a repertoire of almost 50 year's worth of sweater designs, we sometimes make versions of colours, or even styles that don't make it to final production. This creates a limited number of unique garments which we occasionally make available exclusively through our online store.

The intriguing Fíodóir, or Weaver stitch, emulates the mosaic patterns of the stone walls in a striking combination of knitting and weaving. This intricate stitch uses a base Donegal fleck yarn, and 3 contrasting colours for the floating weave. Available in a relaxed-fit Button Vest, this is uniquely textured piece to create an eye-catching ensemble. Reflecting the long history of both weaving and knitting on the Aran Islands and crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto.

Available in very limited quantity in Navy Mix, a rich navy contrasted with blue and cream woven threads creating an intriguing and very versatile colourway. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Hassle-free Worldwide delivery with all taxes and duties included at checkout with no further payments required. All orders are shipped via DHL, except US orders shipped with UPS. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory.

Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible and usually within a few days, please allow up to a maximum 10 day shipping period due to our remote offshore island location where weather conditions can impact shipping your special package from the Aran Islands.

Extended Christmas Returns to the 31st of January for goods purchased since the 24th of November (overrides standard policy return times below). If we can help you with your seasonal gifting in any other way please let us know!

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
