The instantly recognisable Herringbone pattern has featured prominently throughout Irish history, from flooring in monastic settlements to Irish tweed patterns. The Herringbone motif can also be seen on Inis Meáin in stone walls lining the winding island roads, which have inspired our Lightweight Herringbone Line. The Cashmere Light Herringbone Crew Neck is a celebration of this staple design, with an asymmetrical array of vertical herringbone patterns varying in size forming a subtle and unique lightweight sweater. Neat hand-finished rib trims allow for comfortable wear over a shirt and tie, or as a light layer to one of our linen tshirts or tunics. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.

Available for Autumn/Winter 2026 in versatile Navy. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop. 
Apparel care

This garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time. To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash.

Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
Shipping

Hassle-free Worldwide delivery with all taxes and duties included at checkout with no further payments required. All orders are shipped via DHL, except Canadian and US orders shipped with UPS. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has left our factory.

Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible and usually within a few days, please allow up to a maximum 10 day shipping period due to our remote offshore island location where weather conditions can impact shipping your special package from the Aran Islands.

Returns

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
