There is always some distortion or overlap of the sea and sky on the horizon. And so it is with the Scáil TShirt - Scáil is the Irish word for shadow or shade, describing the subtle colour blocks that are beautifully shaded into each other using purl stitch, adding to the mélange effect. Perfectly formed to wear alone or creating an intriguing colour contrast paired with a jacket, this is a go-to summer lightweight tee. Featuring a neat purl stitch finish on the neck, hem and sleeves. For Spring/Summer 2026, this new short sleeve style is knit in our brand new Linen Cotton yarn composition - the perfect layering piece for every wardrobe. Available in Rust Mix, a blend of rich red, golden brown and ochre tones that reflect the movement of light on the sand dunes at Ceann Gainimh or Sand Head, and newly added Black Mix, a mélange of peppered black, grey, silver, beige and white, like seahorse spray on a dark sea under a stormy sky. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Although we will do everything we can to deliver as fast as possible and usually within a few days, please allow up to a maximum 10 day shipping period due to our remote offshore island location where weather conditions can impact shipping your special package from the Aran Islands.

Our Online Shop Returns Policy means that if you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition. Once returned you will be entitled to receive a refund, which will not include the cost of the original shipping.
