Reverse Carpenter’s Jacket
20% Cashmere | 80% Merino Wool
New for AW21, we’ve created a reverse style of our much-loved Carpenter’s Jacket which makes the intricate and unusual interior detailing visible. Inspired by the jacket once worn by one of the Island’s carpenters, this is a comfortable alternative to a classic workwear staple, the chore coat. The luxurious merino wool and cashmere blend creates a soft feel with strength, while the saddle shoulder ensures a flattering, relaxed fall, making layering easy. Features two pockets at hip-level and a third (an interior hidden pocket on our original Carpenter’s Jacket) at breast height. Finished with a row of smooth Buffalo horn buttons. Crafted from a blend of super geelong merino wool and cashmere made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic and premium quality dyes.
Available in Louth, a deep rich blue and turf-brown blend. Made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.

Apparel CareThis garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time. To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash. Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
