For Spring/Summer 2023 we have created a collection entirely composed of linen. One of the oldest textile fabrics in the world, the Island once had as many flax spinners as wool spinners, a tradition evident in local place names such as Garraí an Lín, the flax garden, and Loch an Lín, the flax lake. Featuring new styles, and fresh takes on some much-loved favourites, our Island Linen collection reimagines this heritage in shades inspired by the gorgeous blues, yellows, pinks and greens of the Island in spring and summer.

Every article on these islands has an almost personal character which gives this simple life, where all art is unknown, something of the artistic beauty of medieval life.

For the first time our much-loved patented Aran sweater is available in 100% linen, as is our Claíochaí sweater, inspired by the Aran Islands’ stonewall patterns. With a dry, soft handle, an Inis Meáin linen polo, tunic or sweater is the perfect lightweight choice for the warmer months, especially when layered with one of our signature linen jackets for mid-season days and chillier evenings. Everything in this first instalment is available from March 1st, with a second instalment of new styles and colours to follow later.
European Masters of Linen quality guarantees European linen of the highest standard, sustainable production methods, and traceability from field to yarn. Each piece is our own unique design, made and hand-finished with pride in our Aran Islands workshop.
